Destiny's Child w/ Original Members
when destiny's child first came out, i wasn't all that interested. i did like that one song no, no, no and the remix w/ wyclef but i think that's really the only song that stood out to me by them. and when the original group broke up and letoya & latavia started divulging information about the true Destiny's Child experience, my opinion of beyonce was not what you would call pleasant. i truly thought she was a bitch and i believed everything in the media written about her, and i normally take what i read about celebrities w/ a grain of salt. i had it set in my mind that i wasn't gonna support that chick. HOWEVER, when she released her solo album in 2003 (or was it 2002?) i was converted. i ain't gon' lie, i straight up played a hole in that cd.
Beyonce's Dangerously In Love
i was diggin her voice, her style, her confidence. she has serious stage presence and the ability to capture everyone's attention. the girl has the total package. but deep down, i was still thinking that she was a bitch. she just had that shit under wraps. and dammit, i was right:

did she look like she wanted to hit farrah in the damn head in the beginning when farrah was explaining how she ended up in the group? was she mad her daddy made her put farrah (another light-skinned girl) in the group? now see, i would have left from under all that bitchiness too, no matter how much money they were paying me. did she basically tell kelly to shut up when she started talking about latavia and instead of kelly putting her ass in check, she said "yeah, you're right"? uh, no my dear. kelly, i know beyonce has been your meal ticket or whatnot, but don't let her step all over your ass. and did she say some sarcastic shit and roll her eyes when michelle made a comment about making everything in the world free? i dunno if beyonce was on a powertrip or what but she was acting hella bitchy in this clip.

i knew she had bitchy tendencies all along, i think somebody sat her down and told her to take that shit down a notch. she got everybody fooled with her southern twang and the camera shyness that she seems to have. i'm not a beyonce hater because i still LOVE her voice and admire her beauty. but that doesn't mean that i don't think she's a bitch. even though she was probably stressed out about the breakup of the original members and about all the shit that was being said about her afterwards, she didn't have to take it out on folks. anyway, i still love you beyonce and i will be buying your next album, but the truth shall set you free.
